Hostal Macondo

Hostel Macondo is once of the most popular hostels in Cuenca and therefore it’s a little more expensive then the previous two hostels I mentioned (perla and posada del rio)… the rooms are beautiful and the service is great… I’d recommend it for couples or families.

Posada de rio Hostel

Relatively new, Posada Del Rio Hostel is one on the nicest budget accommodations in Cuenca… you get much more then what you pay for. It’s located right on the party street and a 6 minutes walk from the center of the city. This hostel is run by a very nice lady called Maria. Hostel Perla Cuenca

This hostel is a one of the less expensive hostels in cuenca, it is central and family ran. the prices range between 6-10 usd.
